The Elm Grove Beautification Committee is looking for additional volunteers. You know more than you think you do about gardening, plants, landscaping, entomology, horticulture, rain barrels, and rain gardens ... and if you don’t, we can teach you!
Opportunities to learn about:
- Plant information
- Entomology (good bugs vs. bad)
- Invasive plants
- Native plants
- Best practices for pollinators
Opportunities to serve:
- Keep the Village beautiful
- Garden tour
- Spring perennial sale
- Library window displays
- Holiday float decorating
- Photography
- Promote horticulture speakers/seminars
- Web page design
- Local TV information assistance
Qualifications to apply for this volunteer position: be an Elm Grove resident! Contact Nicci Sternitzky, EGBC Chair, at beautification@elmgrovewi.org for more information. You may also stop by Village Hall to pick up an application.
The EGBC meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at Village Hall.
