Utility Billing

This page specifically speaks about the billing of the following entities in the Village of Elm Grove:

  1. Residents (2,377 Units, 2,023 Connections) - who receive their sewer and storm water fees attached to their tax bill.
  2. Sanitary Sewer Non-Metered Businesses (approximately 50 connections)- who receive a bill using the MMSD "Typical Water Discharge Rates" based on number of employees and hours of business. 
  3. Sanitary Sewer Metered Businesses (approximately 38 connections) - who used to receive an email or postcard asking for the meter reading. If no information was returned, an estimate would be used. 

Due Dates

1st Quarter – Approximately Jan 1 to Mar 31 – Meter Reading Due Date: March 15th – Bill Due April 15th

2nd Quarter – Approximately Apr 1 to Jun 30 – Meter Reading Due Date: June 15th – Bill due July 15th

3rd Quarter – Approximately Jul 1 to Sep 30 – Meter Reading Due Date: September 15th – Bill due October 15th

4th Quarter – Approximately Oct 1 to Dec 31 – Meter Reading Due Date: December 15th – Bill due January 15th

Residents

The amount billed to you is a flat rate. This amount is sent to the County and attached to your tax bill which comes at the end of November, beginning of December.
