The big news this week is the bridge deck will be poured tomorrow, September 2, at approximately 11 am. This operation will take a good portion of the day to complete. There may be times during the concrete pour that access may be limited around the bridge area. If possible please use the alternate entrances to the Park and Shop and the Mill Place Shops. Once the pour is complete the concrete will need to cure for at least 7 days. During this time the contractor will be working on storm sewer, limited backfilling and other miscellaneous work.
At this time the contractor is still confident of having the bridge open to two lane traffic on September 16th with final completion by October 1.
