[ARCHIVED] Waukesha County Special Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event


HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
COLLECTION EVENT MAY 20, 2017
CLOSINGS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND


(WAUKESHA, WI) – The Village of Mukwonago will host a special one-day collection of household hazardous waste open to any Waukesha County resident on Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The collection will take place at the Village Public Works Garage at 630 Hwy NN.

Old, unusable chemicals, pesticides, wood preservatives, solvents, oil-based paints, and mercury-containing products will be accepted. Latex paint, non-hazardous cleaning materials, motor oil and oil filters will not be accepted. Check with your municipal drop off site for motor oil and oil filter recycling.

Waukesha County’s four permanent collection sites located in Muskego, Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, and Franklin will observe the Memorial Day holiday with closings Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29.
