Village of Elm Grove – 2025 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP)
Throughout 2024 and early 2025 the Village led a full update of its park‑system planning, replacing the 2016 Park & Open Space Plan. More than 450 residents completed an online survey and the Village performed stakeholder group interviews where we gathered dozens of additional ideas. Using this input, the Recreation Committee and a CORP Working Group crafted the 2025 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan—a 5‑year guide for parks, trails, open space, and recreation services.

After a public hearing, the Village Board formally adopted the CORP on April 22, 2025. The document positions Elm Grove to remain eligible for state and federal recreation grants (Knowles‑Nelson Stewardship, LWCF, RTP) and lays out clear, phased action items for consideration.
