The Elm Grove Board of Trustees and Public Safety Committee worked with the Survey Research Center at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls to conduct a survey to measure public opinion about safety issues for walkers, bikers, and joggers/runners in the village.
In September 2011, the Survey Research Center sent surveys to a random sample of 1,168 residents of the Village of Elm Grove asking their opinion about pedestrian and bicycle safety issues in the village; 49% of the surveys were returned and analyzed.
