Local resident and author Tom Ramstack shares stories of the Elm Grove of the 1920s and 1930s. For many years, Ramstack’s family ran a tavern in Elm Grove, now known as O'Donoghue's. His presentation, accompanied by photographs, passes along the stories told to him by his father of his adventures (and misadventures) with boyhood friends from the days of their youth in the Elm Grove and Brookfield of old. Free to attend, no registration required.
Have some of your own Elm Grove yesteryear stories? Bring them along! Sharing of stories will be encouraged at this interactive program.
