Reduced Capacity

Capacity is limited to 11 people (in addition to staff) in the library at any one time. This number is based on the WI DPI’s occupancy calculator. Please limit your time in the library so others may also visit.

Current Services

  • Regular circulation and reference services are available.
  • Browsing of all collections is available.
  • Three public computers in the adult area are available, first come, first served.
  • The children’s play area and computers are closed. The study room is unavailable.
  • Curbside pickup is available upon request.
  • Drive-up book drops are open as normal.

Sanitation and Safety

  • Face coverings are required in the library. They must remain on at all times and cover the mouth and nose.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the library.
  • Staff regularly cleans door handles, keyboards, countertops and other high-touch surfaces.
  • Library materials will not be disinfected. Browse and use at your own risk.
  • NOTE: Upon consideration of the evidence, including scientific research, health authority guidance, and industry practices, The Elm Grove Public Library has determined that quarantine of library materials is no longer necessary. We will continue with internal hygiene protocols that are proven most effective in mitigating the risk of spreading COVID-19. If you are concerned about the lack of a quarantine of library materials, we recommend that you self-quarantine any materials checked out from the library prior to use.
