April 26, 2017, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Elm Grove Woman's Club
The Friends of the Elm Grove Library, Boswell Book Company, and the Elm Grove Public Library welcome New York Times bestselling author Kristin Hannah as this year's featured guest for Elm Grove Reads. Hannah's appearance is in conjunction with the paperback release of her bestselling novel The Nightingale.
Published in 2015, The Nightingale has become a reader favorite and a publishing phenomenon, spending over a year on the national bestseller lists. It’s the World War II story of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom–a beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women.
Tickets for this event are $5, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Elm Grove Library. A limited number of tickets are available at the library. Boswell Book Company will have books for sale at the event, and Ms. Hannah will be signing.
